NEWSSaturday 6th NovemberThis week brought mixed fortunes for the club. The 1s travelled to Tollingtonians 2s in the LOB Minor Cup and a much improved performance saw them progress to the last 16 with a 4-0 win. Goals from Gamey, Rob, Scott and Matt sealed the win with Bitmead grabbing MoM with a great performance in Centre Mid. The next round sees a trip to Albanian 4s (Division 3 North) on 4th December. However the mood was dampened after the match as it was found the 2s game vs Mill Hill Village 2s was abandoned. With the 2s trailing 2-1 and seemingly on top, Luke Holbrook suffered a broken ankle in the 48th minute after getting his studs caught in the ground. The club and all the players wish him a speedy recovery. This week sees the 1s in league action away to Camdenians 1s with the 2s home against Ravenscroft 3s. |
